Cadets help at Guide Dogs Open Day

18 Jun 2017

On Saturday the 17th June 2017 Cadets and Staff from 2028 Squadron assisted at the Guide Dogs for the Blind National Breeding Centre Open Day. The day was very very HOT and yet our Cadets took turns in wearing 'Dog Suits' to meet and greet people attending the Open Day. Everyone was given water regularly during the day!

Flt Lt Moreton, Officer Commanding remarked, "The event was moved to June to catch better weather and without doubt it worked! It was ragingly HOT for everyone who attended including my Cadets and Staff who endured high temperatures in Uniform but did a fantastic job as always."

NOTE - This is an example once again of how RAF Air Cadets are involved in Community activities as part of their training.
