Senior Cadet leaves the Air Cadets
11 Nov 2016
On Thursday the 10th November, 2016 CWO Sam Cave paraded on Squadron for the last time. Sam has served 5 and a half years at 2028 Squadron and during that time he has reached the highest rank an Air Cadet can achieve. He has served 12 months as the Lord Lieutenant's Cadet for Warwickshire representing the Royal Air Force Air Cadets and gained his Qualified Junior Leaders Lanyard, something no other Cadet at 2028 has achieved in many years. CWO Cave is an example of what being an Air Cadet is all about, set yourself goals and with hard work you can reach those goals. Sam's last parade will be on Sunday when the Squadron leads the Southam Town Remembrance Parade.
On parade Flt Lt Moreton presented CWO Cave with an engraved Tankard and his brother, Cpl Hugh Cave, gave him a Card and two photo albums showing how Sam progressed through his Cadet career.
He is currently going through the process of joining the Army Reserve and we wish him all the very best for the future and every success as a Reserve Soldier.
Good luck Sam!!
